About D-Day - no apologies here!

If anybody doesn't like what I "like" or like what I have to say, please feel free to unfriend me! Save the chastisement for your children, who have swallowed the liberal agenda whole and now spew it out like pablum! Last time I checked it was still a free country...oh, but wait...hmmm. Yeah right!!! It's free for all except for Conservatives and born again Christians who dare speak up for what is right. I truly hate no one. While I may not agree with their beliefs, it doesn't make me ignorant or a bad person or a non-Christian. And, if you would ever take a look at the Constitution it does mention how our nation is founded on a belief in God and it's law actually based upon Judeo-Christian tenants such as the Ten Commandments. Where we have failed is in teaching our children how that special document helped form a special nation where other people are literally dying to come to. Our children are sorely lacking in knowing the history of our (dare I say it?) GREAT country, when it was the US that was attacked by Japan at Pearl Harbor that instigated WWII. We as a people, had every right to strike back.Nearly a half million people - mostly our young men and women - died so that we wouldn't be overtaken by the tyrants who would have totally destroyed us had it not been for the fact we ended what they started with a nuclear weapon! Did we want to use such a heinous weapon? Of course not! We asked them to surrender and stop the senseless killing, but they refused. They were given several chances, they refused. And, yes it was awful so many of them and their children were killed and so many suffered, but what about our people??? Did the killing of innocent American men and women not matter? The only thing aggressors understand is brute force, and it was brute force that finally ended it. If you would take time to look at this video about Normandy, hopefully, it will give you a better understanding of the sacrifice our brave young men and women made, not to mention their families who FOREVER felt loss and what lengths we had to go to, to stop a tyrant.
