Please know that your dad's hate runs so deep for me, he hired an attorney to send me a "Cease and Desist" Letter regarding Jacob. All this because I dared to send Jacob my email giving him a way to contact me, if he so desired.

Yes, after seventeen long years of not knowing where my grandson was, I found he moved to my city to go to college.  However, the cease and desist letter said if I ever tried to contact Jacob again, I would be charged with "stalking."

But, I don't believe it was Jacob who had this letter sent by a lawyer, but rather your tyrannical father; Jacob's grandfather; my ex.  In fact, Amy, (my oldest daughter) confirmed this to me about two days ago. That it was her dad and his wicked, wicked sister who sought the help of an attorney to keep me away from my grandson. BTW:  Did you know his sister, your Aunt, had two children and aborted them both (one at 32 weeks and had him burned in an incinerator instead of burying him) but tries to take over other people's children to fill the void in her own life.

I know how your dad (Jacob's grandfather) is because that was the way he was when I was married to him, and the very reason I divorced him.  For eighteen long years I endured his emotional (and some physical) abuse until the time came I could afford to get out on my own.


All this hate is because he didn't want the divorce.  He's has fostered and festered such a hate for me during the past twenty years.  He is so consumed with wanting to hurt me all the time, nothing else matters! You know what they say, "there's a fine line between love and hate."   But, this is the crazed idiot's way of getting back at me. Keeping me forever from seeing my own daughter, and from the joy of knowing my oldest grandson.

Charles, if you read this, please know I am no longer afraid of you as I was when I was married to you.  You belittled and abused me for eighteen long and miserable years.  I was so afraid you would kill me with the gun you had, and threatened me with.  But, I faced the awful truth before I filed for divorce because you know what?  I found I would rather be dead than to live with a tyrant like you for the rest of my life. What an evil person you are! I am so happy to be away from you and never have to look at your evil face again!


Melissa, after Jacob told me what his dad did to him (sexually), at Amy's insistence (he told her as well), she video-taped Jacob telling me again what his dad did to him. (He told YOU what Ed did to him, too, so you knew already!) Even though it was difficult to smile in the video while he was telling me these awful things, if I didn't smile, he closed off and would stop talking.

Amy said if we did the video, "people would have to believe us!"  So, I did.  But, thanks to lies, lies, and more lies from Ed, his Mom, your dad,  Sharon, and Dallas, they didn't.

For me, it ended there when you left.  Other than sending Jacob an email, I've done nothing else. 

That's the whole truth of it. 

Anything else your dad has made up just to get back at me.  Amy says he tells everyone I am "crazy" and that I wanted to "steal your child."  Are you kidding me?  Are you kidding me?  Think about it.  I was unemployed at the time.  I didn't even know how I would pay the rent much less buy things a child requires.

I love Jacob, but I raised my children and had absolutely no desire to raise my grandchild.

If you research pedophiles, you will find all kinds of information on them.  About the way they groom people and children around them so if ever they are caught they can say, "see I told you so."

One of those lies told to you (among many by Ed),  I remember distinctly.  Long before Jacob was born, you told me " Ed says our baby will be so beautiful, everybody will want to steal him from us!"   Remember that? I always laughed when you told me that, thinking it a ridiculous statement,  but I guess you weren't kidding! That was a setup if ever there was one. That way, if I ever discovered the real truth, that he molested his own child and told you, all he had to say is I was lying so I could "steal your child!"

And, this is exactly what happened!   I told the truth and he said to you,  "I told you she wanted to steal our child!"

Then, your dad stepped in for full payback. You two had been married for three and a half years and your dad was so angry at him for getting you pregnant, he didn't have anything to do with him or you until the day you went to your dad for help to get away from Ed.  Melissa, your dad saw the opportunity for payback, and from there on out, he used you and Jacob as pawns simply for payback for the divorce he didn't want.

What kind of a person is that?  What kind of a dad would do that???  He is as bad as Ed to tell all these lies, and cover for Ed, his perverted son-in-law.  Sadly, the one time I talked to your dad, after you left, he said he didn't care that Ed was molesting his child, his own grandson! Instead, he crowed that "usually when a person files a complaint with Child Services for an investigation, it is really difficult to stop, but he continued, "I was able to stop it by knowing people - judges and lawyers and the head of Juvenile Services - who were able to stop it."  He was so proud of himself.  But I ask you again...WHAT kind of a person does that?

ALL he cared about was that he found a way to punish me.  And, punish me he has.  Knowing how much I love you and Jacob, he has lied and has nearly decimated my heart at the huge loss of you two.  You know I truly understand the grief  of those left bereft by the World Trade Center bombings.  One day that person is in your life and the next they are gone.  Nothing left, not even bodies to mourn.

Melissa/Jacob, please don't allow your dad/grandfather to continue to use you as pawns, as paybacks!   You are worth far, far more to me than that.  You are precious and special to me.  I call you my prodigal daughter as I truly believe that one day you and Jacob will come back to me.

PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP!

Wow, does that ever sound good to me! 

We've (the working people of this nation who pay the bills)  managed to kick the Socialist asses out!!! (Sorry)  And, I say good riddance!  They can't go fast enough either.

He's got loads of work to do here because American is like a great ship being righted (with Conservative leadership) and it will take some time to get this ship right after being totally gutted the last eight years by the Liberals in charge.

However, with the paid rioters (via George Soros), members of Black Lives Matter or Move On, I'm not so sure how peaceful the transfer of power will be.     

But, have no fear, my fellow Americans, for once DJT comes into office, they will jail their hinnies so fast that once they are released from prison, they'll run back to the gutter from whence they came.  Whining like a bunch of babies.  Same thing on college campuses.  If charged with a crime and made to spend a little time in jail (plus get a record that follows them through their life), they won't be so quick to break the law.

Mind you, peaceful demonstration is great, and one of our most coveted rights.

But, when they hurt other people, damage businesses, or block highways, they are breaking the law and must be held accountable.

Never fear you lawbreakers who were so coddled by the current administration.  Your time is coming and I can't wait to see it. 
 

FOILED AGAIN

Sadly, the perv will do anything to not be found out what kind of a perverse individual he really is.  I should have known.  


So the saga of Jacob goes on.  Jacob is now twenty years of age.  An emancipated adult for sure.  On that premise, and because he is now living in the very same city I am living in and attending MU, I wrote him an email to him tell him how very sorry I was I wasn't able to help either he or his Mom (my daughter) out of their awful situation.   

The email was filled with love (and a pic of him when he was a baby) and expressed the desire to talk with him - if he wanted to call me.  Point is, I left it totally up to him.  

Next thing I know, I get a certified letter from an attorney in Charleston, telling me to "cease and desist" otherwise they will file charges of stalking against me.  

Really?  LOL  I have been aware that Jacob was in school here (in fact I own properties near the school) since March or April of this year.  Not one time did I ever set foot on campus or have the urge to go find him in person, and I never will. In fact, in the email, I explained the only reason I was writing so much is in case he decided not to call me. I'm glad I did now.  I wanted him to know how much I still love him (and his Mom).  Guess it is against the law now to do that, to express one's love and care?

Now his grandfather (he still hates me because I divorced him and this is his lifelong revenge, taking my grandson away from me) and/or perhaps his dad had the lawyer send the letter (his dad now lives in NS, supposedly for work, but I have to wonder if it is because he had to go North, across the border, because he is running from the law?  Not sure.  Don't really care.  Only thing I know is God has a special place in Hell for people who molest children! 

Anyway, supposedly Jacob was upset to learn  that he had a maternal grandmother? The point being, I'm not really sure it is Jacob who initiated the letter from the lawyer. They could have done it without Jacob's knowledge, behind his back, and Jacob wouldn't be any the wiser.  I say that because the lawyer who said she represented him is a long-time family friend of his step-grandmother's.   Hmmm.  You think there could have been some collusion there???  

The only good thing that has come out of it is that I know for sure Jacob did get the letter!  He now knows his maternal grandmother's name, address, and phone number.  He has a way to contact me if he wants. One can only hope he will contact me sometime in the near future.  Time flies by so fast and I am no spring chicken.  

I know if it were me, I would be more than curious about someone I was blood related to (if nothing else for DNA and medical history) but yet wasn't permitted to see for seventeen years and the real reason why.  Wild horses couldn't keep me away from meeting a grandparent whose very same blood runs in MY veins. Who perhaps I look like?  To find out who he inherited his Irish green eyes and reddish brown hair from?  (Me, lol)  Or perhaps talks similar to or has mannerism that greatly resemble that person.  No, NOTHING could keep me from knowing my maternal grandmother.  

After all there are so many things to share...a living great grandfather (now 93), an aunt, great-aunts, first cousins, second and even third cousins!  I have baby pictures of him that I am sure he has never seen as I was the one who took them.  Yes, I would be very curious if I were him.   

Perhaps, they told him I was dead and this is a shock to him?  Anyway, the good news is I am not dead, I am here waiting for him (or his mom) to contact me.  Both would be welcomed with open arms. 

That day WILL come, of that I am certain. But, now it is up to him.

ELECTION DAY IN THE GOOD OLE USA!

I voted last week in order to avoid long lines today.  

Yes, I held my nose and voted Trump!  

Perhaps the following blogger can better explain my reasoning(s) and those of my fellow Conservatives, for doing so. 

No matter who you intend to vote for, please go out and do so.  But, please read and consider the following before you do.  You won't regret it.

My name is Andy Andrews. I am a husband and a father. I have written several books, a couple of which have been moderately successful. In a national discussion of celebrity, money, or power, however, I would not be mentioned.

My family and friends love me though, and in Alabama, where I was born, I like to believe there are those who are happy that I still live here. As for my books, they seem to defy conventional literary description and are most often characterized as “stories of common sense.” That’s fine with me. In fact, it’s exactly what I was after all along.
Through the years, for whatever reason, I decided to make “common sense” my personal quest. The most important part of that quest, I determined, would be to somehow develop the ability to harness common sense for the benefit of other people. Specifically, I prayed to learn how to take complicated subjects that were confusing people and explain to them the “bottom line truth” in a simple, understandable fashion. I wanted to be able to do this in order that they might utilize that understanding in ways that would make their lives better—that would prosper them and their families.
That brings me to today, the looming 2016 presidential election, and perhaps the most critically important issue I have ever attempted to explain:

Why You Must Vote

(even if you must hold your nose while doing so. And…)
Why There Are Only Two Candidates from Which to Choose

First, allow me to say that I am not an admirer of either candidate. I never have been. My wife and I have two teenaged sons and, like you, we are aware that manners and good behavior are a reflection of character. That said, it is ironic that many of us now find ourselves in the position of choosing a president of the United States whose conduct we would not tolerate in our own family.
But choose we must, for this is the first election in our lifetimes that has virtually nothing to do with the “personality” who will serve as our president. This election is about the Supreme Court.
This time, forget everything else. Forget crimes that may have been committed. Forget any alleged sexual assault. Forget the possibility of treasonous acts, adultery, fraud, vindictiveness, and mean or childish behavior. Think only of the Supreme Court. For the first time in your life, you really are about to determine what this country will be like for the rest of your life. This is true, also, for the lives of your children and your children’s children.
As a people, we have not had a choice before us with more power to heal or destroy since the civil war. The United States of America is clearly about to move down one of two roads. No rhetoric can disguise either path. And once the Supreme Court is in place, no Congress or Senate can change that path.
This coming Tuesday, November 8, 2016, you and I will choose which of two people will become president. Soon after being inaugurated, that person will begin the process of selecting the person who will fill the vacant seat on the Supreme Court—the one who will tip the scales one way or the other. Laws will be upheld or overturned. New laws will be imposed or not. In either case, the way you are allowed to live will soon be determined by the Supreme Court. The court’s majority will be determined by the new president. But one thing is certain: after Tuesday, you will have no more say in the matter.
Lest you think this might be a temporary situation, able to be shifted or redone by the next president, it is critical to understand that whichever of the two major candidates we elect this Tuesday will be the person who will set the Supreme Court in stone for generations. The person we elect this Tuesday will not be making one Supreme Court appointment, but perhaps as many as four!
Considering possible retirements and death, look at the court’s current makeup: The vacant seat is that of Justice Scalia who recently died at the age of 79. Of the eight justices that remain, five—Roberts, Thomas, Alito, Sotomayor, and Kagan—are under the age of 70. The rest are far older. Justice Breyer is 78, Justice Kennedy is 80, and Justice Ginsburg is 83 and has been treated for pancreatic cancer.
Supreme Court appointments are for life. This means that the justices serve until they resign, retire, or die. Therefore, a president able to appoint even one member of the court is able to determine the direction of the country. Especially in the situation that exists at present…
The court has voted 5-4 on crucial decisions for years. The swing vote (Scalia) died. The person we elect as president this Tuesday will appoint Scalia’s replacement—the new swing vote.
Pay Close Attention: During the next four years of the president’s term, he or she will likely appoint a second Supreme Court justice. The votes on crucial decisions will then be decided by a vote of 6-3. The opportunity to appoint a third and even a fourth justice to the court will allow whomever we elect on Tuesday the ability to cement the Supreme Court’s voting—think 7-2 or imagine 8-1—for as long as you live.

So it all comes down to this:

First, be aware that there is no possibility of a third party winning this election. None. Therefore, a vote for a third party candidate is a wasted vote. “But I am voting my conscience,” you say. Fine. Just remember that it will be your body (not your conscience) and your children who will live in the world our Supreme Court is about to create. Forever.
Do you want a say in what that world will be like? I’m sorry, but there are only two choices. Him or her.
Yes, I understand. You are furious at being put in a position to have to choose between the “lesser of two evils.” I do understand. It is infuriating. On the other hand, you must understand that “the lesser of two evils” is the only choice you’ve ever had in any election in which you’ve ever voted in your life! Jesus has never run for office. That leaves only the rest of us—you and me—well-meaning, good-hearted people who, despite our best intentions, have still managed to lie, cheat, and say things out loud for which we remain grateful to this day that no one recorded during what we thought was a private conversation.
It is time to put away our self-righteousness. It is time to wake up and understand that we have no ability—zero—to make either candidate feel our contempt with our vote. Even if we did, they would not care! ONE OF THESE TWO PEOPLE WILL BE THE NEXT PRESIDENT. Neither you nor I will change that fact by voting for someone else or by not voting at all.
The only way you can possibly vote this time and have it matter is to vote for the America in which you wish to live. That America will be defined by the Supreme Court justices chosen by one of the two major candidates.
For once in our lives, whatever “President” we have to watch on television for the next four years doesn’t matter. We have all suffered through four or eight years of one presidential face or another and, this time, we will do it again. That face will not matter. In the long run, that person’s name will not matter. ONLY THE JUSTICES THAT PERSON CHOOSES FOR THE SUPREME COURT MATTERS!
Remember that whoever the president of the United States is…whoever the president might ever be—despite the amount of television time they get, no matter the round office and forget the cool plane—that person’s actual power, his or her ability to truly affect your day-to- day life, is extremely limited. Congress, Senate, the will of the people, the approval of the media…all are very real factors that prey upon a president’s ability to do as he or she wishes.
The Supreme Court, on the other hand, is under no such constraints. Once appointed, there is virtually no oversight or even influence that can be brought to bear. The media? Polls? Voters? There is no quarterly review, no coming election. A Supreme Court justice is appointed for life. His or her word is, quite literally, the law. These are the big laws, the ones that determine your daily life.
And the only chance you have to shape those laws is by electing the person who chooses the members of the court. So hold your nose if you wish, there are only two choices…

Here’s how you decide who to vote for:

Both major candidates have announced exactly the kind of justices they will choose for the Supreme Court if elected. One candidate has even listed the names of the judges from which the choice will be made. Your choice will be plain to see and easy to make. Again, your choice is not about a person. In the most literal sense, your choice is about the America in which you wish to live.
Knowing there are many issues that will be determined by the Supreme Court, let’s quickly examine only a few. From here, you will easily understand the direction you wish to take.

Second Amendment

Do you believe that guns are inherently bad? Do you believe that there are too many guns, that gun manufacturers should be held responsible for what individuals do with them, and that the government needs to further restrict the public’s right to own and use guns? If so, you must vote for her. She has publicly promised to appoint judges that will make these beliefs the basis for laws by which we all will live for the rest of our lives.
Or do you believe strongly in the “right to bear arms”? Do you believe that further gun restrictions will only restrict the access honest citizens have to firearms and ammunition? Do you believe that a gun—while dangerous—is a tool like a car and that when used incorrectly, it is the fault of a person, not the fault of the tool? If so, you must vote for him. He has publicly promised to appoint judges that will make laws according to this line of thinking. At that point, we will live with those laws for the rest of our lives.
And this Second Amendment issue will be determined by the Supreme Court.

Abortion

Do you believe that the fetus inside a pregnant woman is a tissue mass and that a woman should be able to rid her body of that tissue mass at any time during the nine months prior to that tissue mass being born? Do you believe that tissue mass only becomes a human being once it is outside the woman’s body? Do you believe that your tax dollars should be used to allow anyone who chooses, for whatever reason, to rid their body of that tissue mass?
Do you believe that counseling centers, funded by churches, set up for the purpose of encouraging adoption should be forced by law to offer abortion counseling as an alternative? If so, you must vote for her. She has publicly promised to appoint judges that will enforce these beliefs into laws by which you and I must live for the rest of our lives.
Or do you believe that the baby inside a mother is a human being? Do you believe that life has a purpose and that, from the moment of conception, each and every child is unique and valuable?
Do you believe that you should not be forced to fund Planned Parenthood—the largest abortion provider in America—with your tax dollars? Do you believe more than 50 million government-approved abortions in the United States since 1970 are enough? If so, you must vote for him. He has publicly promised to appoint judges that will reduce, restrict, and eventually do away with abortion on demand and what you believe will be made into laws by which you and I will live for the rest of our lives.
And this abortion issue will be determined by the Supreme Court.

Immigration

Do you believe the United States should move toward a policy of “open borders”? Do you believe undocumented persons in the United States illegally should not only be allowed to stay, but issued driver’s licenses, food stamps, and provided medical care? Do you believe that if someone wishes to enter our country, they have every right to do so without explanation? If so, you must vote for her, for she has publicly promised to appoint judges that will reverse laws currently on the books regarding immigration. These laws will eventually lead to her stated “dream of open borders” and a new way of life for us all.
Or do you believe that America’s borders are her first line of defense? Do you believe that the word “illegal” means just that? Do you believe that only legally recognized citizens of America have a right to her benefits and protection as provided by your tax dollars? Do you believe America has not only the right, but the responsibility to carefully vet those who seek to enter our country? If so, you must vote for him, for he has publicly promised to appoint judges that will make and defend laws in line with those beliefs.

Regulatory Oversight

Do you believe the government is more capable of determining how your money should be used? Do you believe the government is better able to determine how your children should be educated? Do you believe the government should determine who can do business where and with whom? Do you believe a person should be given priority because of what they believe, what they are, or what they believe they are? If so, you must vote for her, for she has publicly promised to appoint judges who will open our borders, our bathrooms, and our wallets. She has promised laws to punish those who do not agree.
Or do you believe you can decide what’s best for your family? Do you believe that if you earn a certain amount of money you should be able to keep and reinvest the largest part of it to benefit those things you decide are important? Do you believe the government has been created to serve the people, not the other way around? If so, you must vote for him, for he has publicly promised to appoint judges whose rulings allow prosperity for those who work to deserve it.
These are but a few examples of the two pathways you will choose this Tuesday, November 8, 2016. Religious freedom, taxes and the economy, healthcare…in every category you examine, you’ll find drastic differences in the America that will be shaped by this election. Don’t be fooled—how you vote matters, because the Supreme Court matters.
So what kind of America will we have for the rest of our lives? This time, you actually get to choose.

Israel wanted a king. For years God had acted as their provider, protector, and sovereign but in the face of mounting pressure from rival nations and the innate human desire to look and sound like everyone around them Israel wanted a change. They wanted a king that was made of flesh and blood. The prophet Samuel begged them to reconsider. He told them that a king would tax them, oppress them, force them to work for his pleasure, and take their sons off to war. The people were unswayed. It was a king of flesh that they wanted and so it was a king of flesh that God would provide.

When we meet Saul in the the book of 1 Samuel he is everything and more that the people wanted. He was tall, athletic, and handsome. If a group of people were in the market for a king and Saul walked in the room the search would always be over. Saul was king material...or so they thought. Saul proves to be a reflection of the people themselves. Just like Israel he was brash, prideful, arrogant, and quick to make hasty decisions that would have lasting consequences. In looking for a human king what the people really wanted to see themselves on the throne. God would be rejected, Saul would be raised. Human kings would ultimately be the undoing of Israel. 

It is a phenomenon of human history that a people’s ruler tend to be a mirror of the people themselves. Post World War I Germany saw a people licking their wounds from a rousing defeat and simmering with anger over perceived slights on the world stage. This sense of pride and a deep desire for nationalism gave birth to Adolf Hitler. On the flip side a fledgling nation in the late 1700s found in George Washington a leader full of humility and grace, but the society that he found his position in had been shaped and molded by the Great Awakening, an awakening that had led an entire populous to repentance and gospel. Leaders do not define the morality of a people, they are a reflection of it.

And so we find ourselves in America today scratching our heads over this particular time in our history. I have heard it said over and over, “How did we end up with these two as our choice for president?” On the outside looking in it is an absurd thought that out of the hundreds of millions of qualified people in our country we are days away from throwing the keys to one of the two of the most unqualified for the job. But if one looks deeper it actually makes so much sense. They are a reflection of who we have become. Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are a reflecting pool into the state of our nation’s soul.

When a video was released revealing a man to us that has no respect for women, a man whose speech was filled with obscenity and vulgarity, a man who does not see the beauty in God’s creation of a daughter who is a reflection of his image, we see ourselves. We who are in the church will cry foul at this but the reality is that our churches are filled with those who flock to the movies for a glimpse of 50 Shades or DVR the vulgarity of Game of Thrones. We are unfazed by the fact that everything from toothpaste to car insurance is sold on the backs and bodies of our sisters and daughters sexuality. To stand on a perceived moral high ground and throw rocks at Donald Trump is laughable. We are him and he is us.

On the flip side we are now learning more concretely that Hillary Clinton is a liar and a cheat. She is a woman who will say and do anything to get ahead and feed her need for position and power. Welcome to the current definition of the American dream. We live by the idea that one should do whatever it takes to get ahead. The poor continue to suffer all around us, the american inner city is on fire with oppression and need, there are countless children who are locked in a social services system that is understaffed and underserved. The church is positioned to change the narrative and the reality of the story. We find in Hillary Clinton our doppleganger. Say and do anything to pad the pocket and climb the next rung on the ladder. We are throwing parties while our cities burn.

If a people’s leaders are a reflection of the people then the solution cannot be found in new leadership, it must be found in a new people. God knew that this would be the case. After ages of flesh and blood kings leading his people toward destruction God would do the unthinkable. John 1 tells us that the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. The king of heaven became a king of flesh and blood. Jesus was not a reflection of the people he was a reflection of the Father. To look on him is to see the perfection of the Kingdom of Heaven. We have beheld his glory, the glory as the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. To look upon him is to be changed into his image. To pledge allegiance to his kingdom is to find security and hope. To walk in his footsteps is to see the world set on fire with the hope of his promises. If we want the landscape of our country and our leadership to change, the formula is right before us. Look to Jesus. Hope in Jesus. Seek the Kingdom of Jesus. 

Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are not the problem, they are the wake up call. We see in them ourselves. We see in them a call to repentance and prayer. A new president cannot save us....only Jesus can.
