YOM KIPPUR
As my Jewish friends pause to commemorate
the holiest day of the Jewish year, I wish them
an easy fast and a blessed Yom Kippur.

Almost Heaven, West Virginia!
I feel a road trip coming on to try out my "new" car and to rest and rejuvenate before tackling our next project!!!
We've been working so hard to turn our little house into a "dollhouse" it really is time for R & R. I already have it rented, so I think we just need to get away and relax for a while. Do some fun things before going on to Project #6 in a couple of weeks.
I told DH either I wrote a darn good ad or didn't charge enough rent. I received twenty calls in twenty-four hours after placing it and rented to the second person who looked at it. They didn't bat an eye about the monthly rental amount either. See what I mean?
But the former "ugliest house on the block" is now one of the prettiest; much to my pleasure. Didn't think I would enjoy subcontracting the work and being a decorator, but I really think I've found my niche! Though next time, I will definitely hire a painter! ;-)
Oh, yes, back to the road trip...I think I'd like to go back to a place in West Virginia where the water is so blue, it's as if God rinsed His paintbrush in it after painting the sky! And, maybe He did?
After all, it is...almost Heaven...West Virginia!

THANK GOD, OUR SYSTEM WORKS!
Feeling really good about the George Zimmerman case. In this instance, our justice system worked! But some people will not be happy. To some it is never enough. POTUS should have never intervened, it cost the U.S. taxpayers a whole lot of money, when evidence clearly indicated before the trial it should have never been prosecuted to begin with. Nuff said.
