Somehow in the last three years I've gone from being "dogless" to caring for three dogs.  A total of 245 pounds' worth.  How did that happen?  LOL

First, there was Max, a rescue dog who is mixed Lab and gosh knows what else (suspecting either pit bull or German Shepard). He weighs in around 85 pounds and is actually our dog.

Then my neighbor across the creek has a 130-pound Great Dane appropriately named Tiberius.  He and Max are like brothers and have become nearly inseparable   One minute they are fighting, the next horse-playing - or in this case - "dog playing" keeping us thoroughly entertained on long summer evenings out on the porch.

About a year ago, Tiberius, began sleeping on our back porch covering himself up with my expensive rugs.  (Pretty smart of him, no?  GD's are an intelligent breed.)  Anyway, tired of losing rugs, one night I coaxed him into the garage (aka dog house), and gave him his own rug to sleep on beside Max.  Since then he's become like family.

Next came a chocolate female Lab named Zoe.  She belongs to the neighbor across the street, but she doesn't know it.  LOL

It's probably because I am the only one home during the day,  Of course it could be because I like to feed them "cookies."  Not real cookies but dog biscuits and they compete to see which one gets the first one.

Below is two of the lazy dogs.  Next I'll try and get pics of them standing up, but good luck with that as napping is their favorite past-time activity.

I never realized how much I love flowers until recently.  Looking at the outside of my house gives you a clue and inside it's flowers, flowers everywhere!  I'm especially proud of my dahlias and zinnias this year, they are enormous and beautiful!
